Privacy policy.

Effective November 6, 2026. Plain English first, because that's how we work.

The short version
  • We collect what you type into our forms so we can reply and do the work you asked for.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) only run if you say yes. You can change your mind anytime from .
  • We honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
  • We never sell your information for money, and we never use client security data for marketing.

Who we are

Forward Line Technologies ("Forward Line," "we," "us") provides cybersecurity, website, AI and technology consulting services. This policy covers our website at forwardline.tech and the information you share with us through it. Work we do for clients is also covered by the written agreements, NDAs or business associate agreements we sign with them.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a free security check or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, website, phone number if you choose to give it, and your message. We use it to reply, run the check you asked for, and keep a record of the conversation.

Information collected automatically, with your consent

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located (city level), the device and browser type, and how they arrived. If you accept advertising cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Both tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and stay off until you choose otherwise.

Information that's always processed

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Your browser also stores your theme and cookie choices locally so the site remembers them. These aren't used to track you.

Cookies and your choices

When you first visit, we ask before turning on analytics or advertising cookies. You can accept all, reject all, or choose each type. You can change your choice anytime from the link at the bottom of every page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information, and the Meta Pixel stays off.

How we use information

  • To respond to you and provide the services you request
  • To run and improve the website, and keep it secure
  • To measure our advertising, only if you've allowed advertising cookies
  • To meet legal obligations and protect our rights

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy and security terms:

  • Google (Google Workspace for email and form records, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
  • Meta (Meta Pixel, only with your consent)
  • Cloudflare (hosting, security and domain services)

For security testing engagements, we may share scoped technical information with independent partner firms, only with the client's written authorization and under confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

We don't sell personal information for money. Under California law, using the Meta Pixel for advertising can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out by rejecting advertising cookies, using GPC, or emailing us.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and emails as long as needed to respond and to keep business records, generally up to three years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires longer. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

How we protect it

We hold ourselves to the standard we sell: encrypted connections, multi-factor sign-in on our accounts, least-privilege access, and security headers on this site. No system is perfect, and if something happens that affects your information, we'll tell you.

Your California privacy rights

If you're a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we've collected about you and how we use it
  • Ask us to delete or correct it
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don't use it beyond what's needed to serve you)
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights

To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll confirm your request and may need to verify who you are. You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you. Residents of other states with similar laws can use the same process.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll say so on the site.
